Want to build a platform bed to get your mattress off the floor? This bed is sleek and modern. This is the plans for the QUEEN sized. We also sell FULL and KING sized plans in our shop, and we have a bundle!

This bed is built using a Kreg Jig pocket hole jig making it a very beginner-friendly woodworking project.

To build this bed you will need: a saw (most any power saw will work), a sander, a kreg jig pocket hole jig, and a drill.

FINAL DIMENSIONS: 63" wide, 83" long, 14.5" high

So I made a boo boo at first I was making the full size plan then realized I needed the queen otherwise perfect

I was very disappointed with the instructions of this project. They neglected to mention to drill pocket holes on the long sides of the Supports on their cut list. Once assembling the bed it says "Use 2 pocket holes on each end AND 2-3 additional pocket holes on the long side of the Supports to connect them." Since you have already drilled all your pocket holes at this point and are likely assembling the bed where it is going to stay this is very frustrating. I had to drill DIY pocket holes which were less than satisfactory. As I got to the end I realized they also missed direction on their cut list to drill pocket holes in the legs. The point of a cut list is to give you all your cut info BEFORE you get into the directions.

If you felt there was an issue with an instruction in the plan, then we could have helped you with that.
