This pattern features scenes from The Quorn Hunt, usually called The Quorn, which was established 1696. It is one of the world's oldest fox hunting packs and claims to be the United Kingdom's most famous hunt. Its country is mostly in Leicestershire, together with some smaller areas of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. This Royal Doulton Series was introduced in 1924 and withdrawn by 1945.

The plate measures 10 1/4 inches (26 cm) diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is the usual very fine crazing in the glaze. The Royal Doulton backstamp is on the bottom.
