Lanolin Balm

2 oz tin.

Smooth and non-sticky this lanolin balm is made with a mixture of 80% natural lanolin, 10% certified organic hemp oil, and 10% natural jojoba oil.

Lanolizing refers to the application of lanolin to wool in order to provide an enhanced moisture "barrier".

A quick and easy way to surface lanolize your wool items:

1: Wet your wool item thoroughly
2: Scoop out a pea-sized amount of Lanolin Balm and rub it into the palm of your hands.
3: Apply the balm by gently patting (don't rub it in) all surfaces of the pre-soaked wool item.
4: Lay your wool item flat on a towel to dry.

For a more complete lanolizing use the following method:

To lanolize, soak your wool item in a basin of lukewarm water. While it is soaking add a pea sized amount of lanolin balm to a large cup full of very hot water, this will allow the lanolin to melt. Once the lanolin has melted, pour it on top of your wool item. Gently swish the wool item around so the lanolin is evenly dispersed. Allow items to remain in the water for at least 15 minutes.. Remove the wool item from your basin and squeeze out (do not wring!) as much water as possible, lie it flat on a towel to dry, and you're done!

This lanolin balm is unlike other products with its creamy texture and ease of application.
