. This bell-shaped piece is actually a salt shaker. There is no stopper, and there are no little shaker holes. Instead, you fill it from the bottom. It's hollow with a long funnel shape inside, so the salt just rests inside and then comes out when you give it a hearty shake.

This one is glazed in a smooth matte yellow-tan glaze. Just under 4 inches tall.

Be careful to keep the inside of it dry or the salt may clump.

Made by Ian Stainton in Potters Mills, PA, USA.
