Chichen Itza is a rustic beaded turquoise bracelet made with 5 antique bronze hammered rings connected with matching antique bronze chain links. Each of the 30 turquoise beadcharms are hand wrapped onto a link of chain which wraps around the hammered ring, making a charm bracelet with amazing movement! A matching lobster clasp closes the bracelet with matching turquoise beads as dangles on the end of the dangle chain. A lobster clasp fastens anywhere along the dangle chain for a perfect fit! This is a really fun bracelet for casual wear!

This bracelet measures 8 ¾ inches from end to end and will fit a wrist 6 ¾ to 7 ¼” perfectly.

Chichen Itza is located in the northern center of the Yucatán Peninsula among lush tropical rain forest and is approximately 2 ½ hours from Cancun via twisting and isolated roads. One of the most famous phenomena in the world occurs at Chichen Itza twice a year. During the Spring and Autumn Equinox the sun is in exactly the correct position to cast a shadow which resembles a snake descending to the ground. The shadow joins up perfectly with the carved stone snakes head at the base of the pyramid. Chichen Itza was built around 600AD which is almost 1,500 years ago! The main pyramid El Castillo has 91 steps on each of its four sides leading to the throne room at the top making a total of 365 steps possible. Here, the rivers all run underground, collecting in large sinkholes, called cenotes. These cenotes were used for sacrifices of all kinds. They have been dredged in more recent times recovering artifacts including gold, pottery and animal and human remains. Now considered a World Heritage Site, Chichen Itza is an amazing place to visit for a peek into a culture now vanished. A DAY AT CHICKEN ITZA is a tribute to this place!
