This is a beautiful set including a teapot, warmer, creamer and covered sugar bowl. They are made by the German company Goebel - the Hummel manufacturers.

This pattern is called Le Rotisseur and was produced in the mid 1980's. It has a matte near-black glaze over a slightly speckled oyster white clay. Click photos to enlarge and see the finish.

The style is a clean modern look, somewhere between Asian and Scandinavian. Goes with anything!

This nicely sized teapot holds 5 cups. The warmer uses a tealight candle to keep the tea warm.

Teapot measures 5 inches tall and 8 inches across from spout to handle.

All china pieces are free of flaws. The rattan handle is slightly splintered at one end, but is still functional. See last photo.
