2 x 4 Adirondack Lounge Chair Plans With Detached Foot Stool!

This was my first time building anything but the instructions were so simple (along with Jim answering a couple questions for me) I was actually able to build the chair and I really like it a lot! I used reclaimed wood to do a test run. I think it came out great!

Good plans, easy to alter, awesome chairs. Very heavy! Love them. I spent about 6 ours on them, used 2x6's on arms and jigsawed and sanded both ends. Material costs including premium wood and exterior screws, $170.00. You can set and ash tray and drink on both arms. Solid and Well built. I reviewed many chairs cut to be assembled. The quality of these if you take the time is well worth it. Thanks.

This was the first piece of furniture I've ever built. Pattern was well written and easy to follow. I adjusted the print settings so 2 pages fit on one page - text size was still large enough to easily follow. I did initial assembly and then primed and painted the chairs. Applied the second coat of paint after I'd finished putting it all together. The chair is big. You can adjust the angle of the back to your preference before securing it with screws and a board. The chair is solid and heavy. I can awkwardly lift it with my puny office-dweller arms, but chose to use a wheelbarrow to get it down to the beach. The wind won't blow it away. I plan to make several more. Am going to purchase the plans for the little table as well.
