Handmade cowhide bar stool with hair-on hide seat (360mm). Dereck Jeckel features steel frame, custom height, and brindle, brown & white, or black & white hides.
The Dereck Jeckel is a handcrafted natural hair-on cowhide bar stool, designed to bring rugged style and durability to kitchens, home bars, and restaurants. Built in our West Wales workshop, it shares a similar construction to our Bertie Hyde stool but with a slightly wider footprint thanks to the angled splay of its legs.
The frame is made from 20 mm steel box section, welded by hand and finished with a protective beeswax coating. Its larger 360 mm diameter seat makes it a comfortable option for both residential and commercial use.
Each seat is upholstered in genuine hair-on cowhide, available in black & white, brown & white, or brindle. The natural variations in cowhide make every stool unique.
As with all our stools, the Dereck Jeckel is made to order. Choose your perfect height (between 650 mm and 800 mm) for a piece of seating that is tailored to your space and built to last.
