These cute little eggplants are both delicious and decorative! All seeds have been gifted to me by my Thai friend who uses no chemicals and pesticides in her little apartment patch!
Shaped no larger than a chicken's egg, the easter egg plant is a bite size morsel for all forms of soups, curries, roasts, and sauces. Despite it's compact size, these eggplants are bold in flavor and compare well to their large purple cousins. When preparing the mini white eggplant, the skin is tender and thin to the point that you do not need to peel. The pure white flesh within is creamy, robust, and very smooth to the taste.
Plants are very similar to the ones in the first photo and will produce around a hundred little eggs in a single season. Each plant can grow up to 3 feet tall and from compact bushes that need no support. Once the 'eggs' ripen on the vine, they will shrink and become yellow, forming the little 'yolk' fruit you see in the bottom left corner of the photo across from the chicken.
Fruits dry well and become tougher with age, making them excellent for decoration or as an egg substitute when it comes to painting. These little eggs can be used as 'robin's eggs' in garlands or wreaths or arrangements.

Each hand designed and child decorated packet contains at least 10 organic homegrown seeds! Each seed packet features it's own special image drawn by our residential little artists! My friends and I do not use pesticides or chemicals in our garden!

Shipping costs cover the base shipping and the handling- this includes production of seed packets, seed harvesting, and preservation. We also isolate plants to ensure strain purity and harvest, dry, and clean each seed pod by hand! All the best, because we care!
