Inspired replica of a unique object, on display in the museum of Heraklion in Crete, Greece

The Phaistos disc is a disc from the Minoan palace of Phaistos, on the south coast of Crete dating to the Minoan Greek Bronze Age (2nd millennium b.C.), covered on both sides with a spiral of stamped symbols.
Its purpose and meaning remain disputed, making it one of the most famous mysteries of archaeology!

This unique item is cast in aluminium.
It features 241 tokens, comprising 45 unique signs, in a clockwise
sequence spiraling towards the disc's center.

6 inches / 15.5 cm round approx.
0.4 inch / 11 mm thick approx.

Stands on a clear perspex base with bronze axis
