Need a present for that hard to please teenager? This 50" x 69" throw quilt will be perfect!

Funky, modern colors of blues, teals, and browns punctuated with pops of primary colors in the rick rack and appliqued dots make this a fun and hip - almost retro looking quilt.

The backing is the same as the border - fun dots of blues and creams on the background of medium brown.

The binding is pale blue to frame this beauty and as always I machine stitch a double fold/double stitched edge as the binding is the first to show wear and tear on a quilt.

This is the perfect sleep-over quilt sure to be cherished and appreciated. Make a hit with those difficult teens!!

I machine quilt every inch to two inches on my quilts which involves a tremendous amount of stops and starts and thread changes. I quilt on my home sewing machine (which can LITERALLY be a pain in the neck (and arms-and back!) with some of my larger quilts!!) using chalked stencil markings or free motion quilting which I make up along the way. This takes a super amount of time which I have to make up for in my pricing, but I think well worth the extremely personal touch.

I, and only I , have touched my quilts and worked it at every step of the process..from dreaming at 2 a.m. of your new quilt - from fabric shop -to planning -to cutting - to stitching - to finishing - to packaging - to you!!!!

I used Warm and White 100% cotton batting - the fabric is 100% cotton also.
Gentle cold machine wash, no bleach, gentle warm dry or lay flat to dry.

Your quilt will get softer and softer with use and lots of love! I have prewashed this quilt so expect shrinkage and puckering for that soft homey look - about 3%. I always include a Shout Color Catcher for that first wash. My quilts wash up beautifully. Check out my other items in my shop.

My sewing studio is away from the rest of the home - we do have a beautiful cat but he never comes near my quilts - though he would love to!! We have a complete smoke-free environment however.

Frequently asked questions about TrueloveQuiltsForYou

At this time I am unable to accept any Custom orders
Most of my quilts are not prewashed so you can expect shrinkage of both cotton and cotton batting up to 3% with the first washing. Washing should be done on a gentle delicate slow cycle, cold washing, no bleach, mild detergent, lay flat to dry and tumble every 15 minutes to fluff. Handwashing is highly recommended for optimal care of a quilt.
My quilts are usually not a standardized bed size. The fabric 'speaks' to me telling me just how small or large it wants the quilt to turn out! :)
Many of my quilts are a large throw size although I have made both larger and smaller as well as table topper size. All sizes are listed to the inch in the item description. Because my quilts are bound and finished, I am unable to make them larger, as has been requested many times.
