This specimen reportedly was discovered by Tibetan refugees fleeing the Chinese army after the Battle of Chamdo. What remains of the skin is the classic texture and coloration of the Fae in that part of the world. Whether this specimen was a casualty of the battle is unknown. No weapons or other artifacts were recovered at the time - or at least none remain with the body today. Like most of the pixies, this specimen was approximately 6" tall in life. Once endowed with 4 wings, the lower wings, while present, have decayed markedly in the intervening years.

It is displayed in an 8"x6" light honey oak colored shadowbox which may have some signs of wear.

A remarkable piece any enthusiast would be proud to own!
