This homegrown, hand sheared wool roving is perfect for all your roving needs! Sturdy enough for felting, and soft enough for spinning into yarn, our girls worked hard to grow this versatile fleece just for you!

Our sheep are mostly Corriedale, with a bit of Merino and Romney thrown in as well. You can see pictures and a history of our small flock at

Each year a local Amish man comes out to our hobby farm and gently shears each of our sheep. We then skirt each fleece by hand before taking the raw wool to Blackberry Ridge Woolen Mill ( ) where they turn our girls work into beautiful roving or yarn.

This particular listing is for one 3.6 ounce package of natural white roving. If you decide you'd like to buy in a larger quantity the cost is $2.00 per ounce.

I've had my sheep for about ten years and have sold completed projects made from their wool but I've decided that the stash of roving around the house has gotten out of control. I picked up last years wool from BlackBerry Ridge and I'm afraid there's not enough storage space in my craft room! Help me out! I'm sure you'll love this wool as much as we do.

Shipping costs are set to reflect the highest prices at USPS. If your shipping is cheaper, we will refund the difference.
