Does that dear little girl you know just love teddy bears? This 35'"x 45" sweet quilt will delight her for hours and sure to become a favorite
A classic Irish chain in the body of the quilt with teddy bears frolicking along the border will surely please! The main colors are pinks and browns accented with traditional white rick rack
I have quilted moon and star motifs along with hearts and feathers; my quilting always hand stenciled and machine stitched out on my Husqvarna home sewing machine.

The backing is the pinks and cream striped - shabby chic look -cotton fabric - two looks for the price of one!

The binding is a crisp white cotton always machine stitched with a double fold/double stitch for a sturdy edging which is usually the first place a quilt will start to show wear. My bindings are extremely durable.

I machine quilt every inch to two inches on my quilts which involves a tremendous amount of stops and starts and thread changes. I quilt on my home sewing machine (which can LITERALLY be a pain in the neck (and arms-and back!) with some of my larger quilts!!) using chalked stencil markings or free motion quilting which I make up along the way. This takes a super amount of time which I have to make up for in my pricing, but I think well worth the extremely personal touch.

I, and only I , have touched my quilts and worked it at every step of the process..from dreaming at 2 a.m. of your new quilt - from fabric shop -to planning -to cutting - to stitching - to finishing - to packaging - to you!!!!

I enjoyed making this quilt very much.

I used Warm and White 100% cotton batting - the fabric is 100% cotton also.
Gentle cold machine wash, no bleach, gentle warm dry or lay flat to dry.
I have not prewashed this quilt so after the softening and puckering of the first wash you may expect about 2% shrinkage. My quilts wash up beautifully and I always include a Shout Color Catcher for that first wash.

Your quilt will get softer and softer with use and lots of love!

Most of my quilts are not prewashed so you can expect shrinkage of both cotton and cotton batting up to 3% with the first washing. Washing should be done on a gentle delicate slow cycle, cold washing, no bleach, mild detergent, lay flat to dry and tumble every 15 minutes to fluff. Handwashing is highly recommended for optimal care of a quilt.
My quilts are usually not a standardized bed size. The fabric 'speaks' to me telling me just how small or large it wants the quilt to turn out! :)
Many of my quilts are a large throw size although I have made both larger and smaller as well as table topper size. All sizes are listed to the inch in the item description. Because my quilts are bound and finished, I am unable to make them larger, as has been requested many times.
