Dainty and pretty chaplet, made especially for those who love St.Cecilia! Beads and rose are handmade out of polymer clay, very durable, and glazed for added shine and protection. Beads are shades of pink swirled together while the white rose has just a little bit of pink in the center.

Crucifix will vary!

St.Cecelia was a virgin/martyr who died very young. She convinced her husband to let her keep her virginity, and because of her strong example in her Faith, her pagan husband and brother ended up converting to Christianity, and were eventually martyred because of it.
An executioner was sent to St.Cecelia's house to kill her, but either because of inexperience or perhaps nerves, it took 3 blows with the sword to her neck, leaving her neck only half severed. He ran off and St.Cecelia spent 3 days and 3 nights on the floor of her kitchen, slowly bleeding to death, singing praises to God. Her last profession of faith was holding up 3 fingers, symbolizing her belief in the Holy Trinity.

St.Cecelia is the patron saint of musicians and church music.
