This is an open edition print. It is signed in pencil by Mark Edward Geyer. Mark illustrated The Green Mile for Dutton Signet in 1996. The drawing is printed on 80lb, acid-free cover stock. The image measures 4" x 6.25". The paper measures 8 ½” x 11 ½”; it is wrapped in cellophane and is perfect for framing. The electric chair illustration appeared as the title page illustration in the first of six chapbooks as The Green Mile first appeared in paperback form in 1996. Since that time Mark Geyer's six Green Mile illustrations have been published in the Scribner hardcover edition as well as twenty-three foreign language and book club editions. Mr. Geyer has also illustrated Stephen King's Rose Madder, Elevation, and The Colorado Kid. He is also the illustrator of Anne Rice's new novel, Blood Communion. For more information, visit
