From my 2nd solo exhibition "50 Bucks: Bring On The Sluts" which toured 4 cities (Melbourne, London, Portland and New York) in 2008. "80's Marilyn" was 1 of 437 small original artworks on moleskine paper. Each contained an erotic illustration inspired by Japanese sex shop culture and vintage pornography. The vast majority of the works were sold, and this is one of the very few last remaining originals.

The works were originally presented inside Australia's 1st Art Vending machine, donated by Pepsicola and hand painted with images from vintage Pepsi commercials and quotes about the soft drink from movies and popular culture. The original art was sold from inside the machine in a 'pot luck' fashion, with the work being vended inside an empty Pepsi bottle.

The artwork is an original and absolutely one of a kind. It is made from mixed media (pen, marker, gouache, acrylic, crayon and spraypaint) on moleskine squared sketchbook paper, and is size 12.5 cms x 21 cms, with rounded right corners.

The series of works were made into two limited edition packs of playing cards. These are now sold out, but an entirely new series of cards is in the process of being designed and made.

I have a handful of other "Sluts" left from this series - please enquire if you would like to see what else I have available.
