Eagles are a member of the Accipitridae family; which also includes hawks, kites, and old-world vultures. Scientists loosely divide eagles into four groups based on their physical characteristics and behavior. The bald eagle is a sea or fish eagle.

Abrasive Sandblasting is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface, or remove surface contaminants. The first abrasive blasting process was patented by Benjamin Chew Tilghman on October 18, 1870.

This striking American Eagle was sandblasted on bright blue Flash Glass for a very Patriotic effect. It measures app. 9 1/4" x 17 3/4" and is framed in Zinc came. An 18" silver Jack chain completes this marvelous piece.
