This yarn is dyed by hand using colorfast acid dyes. "North Country Sock" is a 4-ply 75% Superwash merino, 25% nylon yarn, approximately 100g and 463 yards.

North Country Sock is soft and springy but has the added sturdiness of nylon. It will make great socks that are comfortable but hold up to wear and tear. Its name is derived from the "North Country" of the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York, where warm but sturdy accessories for hiking and outdoor activities are a must.

This yarn would also be suitable for shawls, sweaters or other garments that call for a fingering weight yarn. One skein should be enough for a pair of socks, but be sure to check your pattern's requirements.

Honey Wheat is a semi-solid golden yellow with streaks of brown and chestnut.

Care: Machine wash cold and lay flat to dry.

I do my best to represent colors accurately, but they may vary slightly when viewed on different monitors.
