This neckpiece has been created around that beautiful indian engraved amethyst bead which is in the center of my choker recalling the scarabs in the egyptian broad collars.
The intense purple colour of that stone is here enhanced by the combination with turquoise which makes it a very showy and attractive piece.
Once again I had to go to the past to find a convincing updated solution for my creation and I found out that that colour combination had been successfully implemented by Cartier for a gorgeous neckpiece made for a very special customer: Wallis Simpson, the duchess of Windsor. I’ve always been fascinated by this woman whose unrivalled elegance seduced the english king Edward the VIIIth pushing him to abdicate in order to marry her.
According to my style this piece is crafted as an egyptian broad collar where two rows of turquoise beads are mounted on a Silver wire. The final result is a contemporary piece for a modern woman whose goal is to be unique, elegant and seductive as Wallis Simpson in the XXth century and Cleopatra much before her.

Due to the size and the shapes of the beads this is a unique piece. It is though possibile to customize the size.
