Enhance the look of your bedding with the addition of a bed scarf and have the sweetest dreams. They provide a simple approach to embellish your room and pick out accent colors to add another dimension to your room.

A bed scarf is a great way to bring together a color scheme and many interior designers are using this with great success. Bed Scarves are all the newest rage and really began in the hospitality industry, with hotels probably being the biggest users. A bed scarf is just that, a piece of fabric or a knit throw that is meant to go at the foot of the bed. It is suppose to be functional in that it protects the bedding when someone lays down on top of it with shoes or puts a piece of luggage on it. But, many bed scarves, like this one have wonderful prints — adding a splash of color to an otherwise neutral bed.

Featured is the Thomas Paul Parasols fabric with shades of blues, gold, cream on a brown background. A real winning combination of colors I think you'll agree.

I have used the same fabric print on both sides and added a layer of batting inbetween to make it feel that much more luxurious. Go on, spoil yourself, you deserve it!

About Thomas Paul:

Thomas Paul was born and raised in New York City. He got his start in the fashion business working as an intern at DKNY in the mid-nineties after graduating from New York's Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in textile design.

While working as a colorist and designer for a silk mill specializing in neckwear and scarves, he worked on neckwear collections for such designers as Bill Blass, Calvin Klein, and DKNY. This eventually led to the creation of his own neckwear collection, the short-lived digities in the late 90's. From this was born the start of the thomaspaul pillow collection, launched in 2001, which was originally conceived of as an idea of utilizing the silk printing mill's capabilities for home accessories instead of personal accessories.

Since then the line has steadily expanded into other categories apart from silk pillows to include tabletop, stationery, and lamp shades. The ultimate goal being to have products covering every aspect of the home, all with thomaspaul patterns gracing them.
