As seen in Goop's Netflix series, our barbell was designed by sexologist Betty Dodson, PhD. It is comprised of medical grade stainless steel with a 3 polish finish that sets it apart from other products. It looks beautiful on your nightstand and doesn't look like a sex toy.

It weights one pound which provides resistance to help maintain the strength of your pelvic floor muscle. The pelvic floor muscle is vital to orgasm.

Best love yrself v day gift ever, thanks for making my little personal holiday wonderful in just the way I hoped. Been interested in Betty's barbell for years, esp. after hearing/seeing Carol Queen talk about and use it in a classic educational video. I know bloggers lately are obsessed with the Pure Wand (and it is cool, but its pronounced curve is both its unique plus and a major limiting factor) but honestly this is personally way better--just the right sizes for each end (neither side's too big to comfortably use unlike the pure wand for many including myself), and length and weight, and the multiple "beads" and how they're spaced is genius, right on. Love how this manages to be both super versatile AND effective/stimulating. Perfect. Reminded for the umpteenth time the pioneering classics are so for good reason. Thank you!

The barbell is great! I haven’t had it long enough to notice a difference in PC muscle strength but I’m hopeful. It’s easy to clean. I warm it up under warm water before using simply because it can be cold. I gave it 4 stars because it is pricey. Quality and shipping are 5 stars.
