This Large Fabric Table Grid and Cutting Mat is ideal for anyone who needs to measure and cut on a regular basis ie sewing machinists, curtain & blind makers, upholsterers, quilt makers and bag makers or any other crafts that involves measuring on a large scale. It is a large table cloth with a printed measuring grid (in centimetres) that provides a cutting line and rulers across your whole large table. A brilliant solution for quick and easy measuring and cutting.

Products: Choose the length of your POLY fabric grid, all have a printed width of 150cm as follows:

POLY GRID (cms)
150cm width x 200cm length
150cm width x 250cm length
150cm width x 300cm length
150cm width x 350cm length

POLY Grid Specification:
The size you choose is the size of the grid, the numbers (in cms) are outside the grid.
The actual fabric width is 200cm (so spare fabric outside of the 150cm width grid for folding and stapling),
The actual fabric length is your chosen printed length +15cm each end for turning and stapling to table.
The grids are printed to a 0.1% tolerance, this means it will be plus or minus 1mm per 100cm print.
This means no stretching is required, as the printed measurements are good to use. You just need to roll onto your table, position and staple each side ( only about 6 staples each side). Only needs one person to fit, plus several clamps.
You can iron fabric on the grid, but avoid prolonged ironing on a wooden or MDF table as the heat has no escape, and avoid where possible too much direct heat contact.

The table grid is a great sewing room tool & helps with:
> quick measuring
> straight cutting lines
> squaring corners
> folding and hemming fabric
> mitred corners


Fitting: We recommend underlining with a poly fabric (not provided) to extend the product life, the fabric grid is stapled under the table, or at the side of the table, to secure in place. Thus giving measuring squares and cutting lines across the whole table. You can choose to have the numbers on top of your table or at the side. Its good to clamp for a few days first, so you are happy with the positioning of the numbers on your table.

Product Care: Once fitted, vacuum clean regularly to take away dust and fabric remnants, wipe with baby wipes, and most of all avoid putting dirty delivery parcels on your grid (use an old fabric remnant to cover before placing any deliveries on your table)

Next print run is Friday 5th June (all pre-orders will need to be received and paid for by 5th June 2026) ,dispatch is at the end of the same month.

POSTAGE
UK deliveries: we deliver your table grid on a roll, and the parcel is very long (over 2m), we used a tracked courier, details are given when dispatched.
USA: Delivered duty paid (DDP), custom tariff is included in the cost of the listing (no extra to be on delivery), Item will be posted in a mailbag, folded.
EU orders: You will have VAT added, at your local rate, on collection

International Deliveries: You table grid will be folded and sent in a mailbag, due to the roll being over 2m it is difficult to send on a roll. Once you receive your grid please unfold and leave to settle. You can straighten by placing another fabric over the grid and iron.


Please note: The table grid is a workroom aid not a scientific measurement tool that can be calibrated to the millimetre. We would always recommend checking with the original tape measure used, when measuring windows for example

The grid is designed as a measuring device and assist with straight cutting lines. It fits across your whole table and will be in a tolerance of 0.1%, meaning is can be +or- 1mm every 100cm. This fabric grid is NOT an FR Fabric, so whilst you can iron an item on the grid, please do not iron the grid directly. We do not recommend ironing for any longer than 30mins as the grid and your table is not designed for this use, assuming you have no ventilation on your table for the heat to escape.
