How can you possibly resist owning these sweetest little plates? My mother owned them before I was born and I have recently learned that they were made in the 1950's by Blue Ridge and this pattern is called "Red Nocturne", however, they are not marked. There are two of them and they are hand-painted with a sweet little cherry-pink border and little light red flowers with vivid green leaves, which is very typical of the hand-painted fruit and flower designs that were made by this company. Being 6 inches in diameter, they are perfect for salad plates, dessert plates or just to hold a sandwich for lunch to share with a friend!
