This piece is part of my new "Earth's Treasures" line, which includes "found" materials from the natural world.

This necklace is made from a clear glass bottle full of naturally shed and humanely collected flight machinery. A small cicada hindwing and a dragonfly wing both came from insects found expired in my courtyard. The amazing, blue-striped, white-tipped bluejay feather lay under a tree in my courtyard. The jeweled beetle wing casing I fell in love with online and purchased through Etsy, but was also humanely collected.

A patterned, silver-plated chain suspends the bottle, and from twisted silver-plated rings dangle two Tibetan silver charms. One is a feather, and the other is a rectangle stamped with the word "Wish". A cork seals the bottle, and it is secured with a ring of hypo cement.

The 5mL bottle measures 40mm x 22mm, and cannot be gift-boxed, but will arrive carefully wrapped in lovely, decorative, tiger-themed tissue paper, ready for gifting in its white shipping box.
