English Raphael Tuck "Oilette" postcard from the "Fair Daughters of Eve" series by Marjorie Mostyn. This one of a pretty young lass with a blush in her cheek wearing a purple bonnet. Beneath is written a little ditty "Her face is fair, her heart is true, as spotless as she's bonnie".
This postcard is from a large collection I will be posting over the next few days. It was sent home to a family of girls by a doting father who as a senior commanding officer of the Canadian Forces was stationed in Paris during the First World War.
This one is worth the price just for the note on the reverse in lovely hand "Dearest Molly"...
Some minor bends and corner bumps on the upper edge otherwise very clean and fresh.
