What is luffa/loofah?

Loofah is an edible cucumber-type plant that when left to dry naturally produces a wonderful bathing tool for exfoliating dead skin and stimulating blood circulation.

♥ HELPFUL TIP:
If you have trouble removing the soap from the container, pop it in the freezer for a few minutes and run the container under warm water. This will release the soap from the mold.

Every Ingredient in our soap is chosen for a reason. Our bar soaps start with a base of the following:

Olive oil: creates a moisturizing and conditioning bar
Coconut oil: produces a bubbly lather
Palm oil: creates a hard, long lasting bar (The palm oil we use is RSPO certified sustainable to protect the orangutan habitat.)
Sodium Hydroxide: acts as a saponifying agent, turning the oils into soap.

Our novelty soaps (excluding the cupcakes - these are made from scratch) are made using a high quality, detergent-free base.

Handmade soap will last quite a long time if stored properly. Keep in a cool, dry place until you are ready to use it. The longer a soap sits, the harder it will get. This will make it last longer in the shower. Once the bar is in your shower, be sure to allow it to dry between uses. Do not allow it to sit in a puddle of water or it will begin to dissolve. Using a nylon bath pouf produces even more luxurious lather than using the bar directly on your skin.

It smelled wonderful, but I had a problem with the package. It took me a good while to get the soap out of there. It would be fantastic if, in the future, there is a twine or string that loop in the loofah or change the packaging to be wrapped in wax paper. Other than cutting the oackage up, it was great.

I'm sorry you had difficulty with the packaging. As mentioned in the listing details, the best way to get these out if you have trouble is to put them into the freezer for a few minutes and then run them under warm water. This helps release the bond between the soap and the packaging and it should pop right out.
