Super cozy! A not too tough intro to double knitting in the round, although I would rate this as an advanced pattern. Double knitting creates a reversible double thickness or stockinette stitch - great for windy days!

I used 1 semi solid hank of Hudson & 1 contrasting multicolor hank of Hudson - 220 yds each worsted weight. You will also need 16" circular needles smaller than you normally use for worsted weight (I used #5US) and a stitch marker.

See the available colors of Hudson here:

Instructions are written out for first row of double knitting and then only charted. For the nicest edge I use an alternating two color cast on, instructions for this not included in pattern but there are lots of great web tutorials or Melissa Leapman’s Mastering Color Knitting has great illustrations.

You will need an Adobe reader to open the PDF file if you don't have one you can download one for free here:

Pattern will be emailed to your Paypal linked email account within 24 hours of receiving payment.

Please note items made from this pattern are for personal use only - Thank you!
