Antique ironstone platter decorated with a lovely flow blue design was produced by Newport Pottery sometime around the end of the 19th century. Stamped "Lichfield" in blue and "Newport Pottery Co Ltd" in green with a crown and lion, also "Burslem England". Excellent condition. No chips, no cracks, no crazing. Two flea bytes (very tiny flea) on the underside of rim. Some dark spots on the back; on the front there are very few usage marks that can be seen when you tip it to the light.

measures 12 1/8" x 9 3/8"
