Orsons Original tutorial in polymer clay Metamorphoses with Cold Enamels- in English & French - PLUS BONUS "TOO DARN HOT TUTE" in English only
This tutorial is meant for advanced clayers who want to have fun and learn few new tips & tricks. It's called "Metamorphoses" because it goes through some stages before we end up with the 3rd picture earrings (or a pendant or a brooch). But you don't have to stick to the black, white and red, but add some more color, if you prefer (last picture).
In order to cut the whole process short, the project was done by one single curing in the oven (making the base, slightly curved earrings blanks with embeded earring posts under textured back - picture 4) and then I went on applying cold enamels which I cured with a heat gun. Of course, if you don't have a heat gun, oven will do nicely. Each stage gives a different result (picture 5) and it's up to you to decide whether you'll go through all of them or stop at some point. In any case, you will end up with lightweight button earrings (mine are 3cm).
In the end, I will go thru other examples from this listing and explain how they were done.
The tutorial contains aprox. 90 photographs.
This project is made using Kato clay.

Loved the tute. I am waiting for the enamels from Russia and I cannot wait to get started. I am giving Nikolina a 5-star rating because I have taken a class from her before and I have read through the tute and it is fab.
Good to follow tutorial, I had great results.
All of her tutes are great fun. I made about 30 variations the first weekend I bought this one :)
As always, Nikolina has produced another great tutorial. I love her work, and clearly explained and photographed tutorials, which is why I keep coming back!
