This beautifully leather bound edition of the Basic Works of Sigmund Freud, 1978, came to us from a collector of the 100 Greatest Books of All Time and we managed to snag 30 of them for your enjoyment.

The book features premium hand-cut full leather boards with a distinct cover design in ornate 22-karat gold gild. The spine is hubbed with raised horizontal ridges formed in the leather. There are silk moire endpapers with a sewn in matching satin bookmark. The pages are gold gilded to protect against dust and moisture and the paper used is acid neutral to last generations without discoloring.

Each book is pre-owned and appear to never have been read. The books appear to have been sitting on a yellow painted bookshelf for the last 30 years, so they picked up some of the paint, but a little thumbnail action will get most of it off. The HD photos included with the listings will show it, if applicable.

Overall, each book is in great condition with a few bumps typical of vintage and a great find for any collector.
