Now here's a fab retro look in the coolest little vintage pencil sharpener by Apsco that you'll ever find ~ and it still works!

In very good vintage condition, the "Midget" is approx. 2 1/4" x 4" in size. Painted a mustard yellow color that is a bit chippy in places with mostly metal parts, it has a removable plastic casing (that is amazingly in perfect condition with no splits or cracks) surrounded by metal to hold pencil shavings, and a black wood knob at the end of the crank. Two holes for easy mounting at the base.

Marked "Midget" Automatic Pencil Sharpener Company, Rockford, Ill., U.S.A. with the Apsco logo. This little gem is from at least 1951 as confirmed by an advertisement but could be as old as 1948, the Apsco trademark date.

This was part of my Dad's workbench for many years. What a cool "old school" gift for that special artist, writer, or handyman that you know!
