A small and lovely antique brooch of English manufacture. Three flowers, daisies? The filigree wirework on this piece is exquisite. The center of each flower is in pink gold, the petals are of twisted yellow gold wires. The clasp at the back is a 'C' clasp.

Markings: The only marking on the brooch is 18C. The box is dated - August 8th, 1906. The maker's name is printed on the inside of the lid, on the soft silk liner. The name is no longer legible, "GAY___ & SONS, Jewellers to His Majesty, Kingston on Thames"

Condition: Perfect! The brooch does show some very subtle signs of wear, the pin itself has a couple of the most minor indentations. I'm not too sure what this is from, but these tiny marks are very minor and smooth. The tiny box is finished with leather and is embossed in gold. The lid of the box has been embossed with "August 8th, 1906" the inside has the manufacturer's information printed in gold on ivory silk. The name is worn beyond reading.

Size: The brooch measures approximately 1-1/2" x 1/2". The large center flower is about 1/2" in diameter and the two smaller flowers are each about 3/8" in diameter. Total weight is 5.0 grams.
