Vintage patchwork cutter quilt tiny star appliques shabby feedsack star cutouts embellishments set of ten(10) hand cut original one-of-a-kind craft supply from ITS YOUR COUNTRY TM

Cutter quilt applique stars are tiny, primitive and shabby. These stars are carefully hand cut and are not each exactly the same exact shape, they are primitive and meant to be that way.

Stars are small and measure approx. 1 3/4" x 1 3/4".

These stars are hand cut from old vintage scrap feedsack cutter quilts that has been well loved and used and well beyond wear of their original intended use. These cutter quilts were hand pieced and hand quilted around the 1940's. I have upcycled the cutter quilts to make available to you some new, fun and shabby created OOAK(one-of-a-kind) star shaped appliques.

You will be receiving the 10 cutter quilt applique embellishment stars that are shown in the photos.

The star appliques are three layers, patchwork quilt front, batting and a backing, just like a quilt and have raw edges. The feedsack fabrics are such vintage, fun and nostalgic prints and solids that allows a piece of the past to live on. The stars are cut from various cutter quilts, so some are thin, while others are a bit thicker due to the thickness of the batting. The backing of the stars vary in color and pattern. The star appliques are clean and ready to craft with.

These quilted fabric stars are great for embellishment on wearable art clothing, tote bags or purses, use in scrapbooking, cardmaking, decorating gift bags, great for altered books, make your own brooch or pin by adding a pin back, they make cute ornaments, repair or patch an old quilt, incorporate them into your stitchery and just use your imagination for endless possibilities.

These are newly created hand cut applique embellishments from repurposed vintage cutter quilts. Keep in mind that the stars have a shabby vintage look and are cut from a previously used cutter quilts and there may be some imperfections such as fabric fading, thinning, loose threads in the seams, areas where batting may show through, spots, stains or small holes that add to the beauty and charm of this item.

Great for your primitive crafting!!! They can be stitched on, use a dab of glue or even use the scrapbook adhesive squares.
