Fun With Magic
by Alexander Van Rensselaer
Illustrated by John N. Barron
Garden City Books
Copyright 1957
First edition

This carefully illustrated book gives step by step instruction to 27 magic tricks - enough to amaze your friends and relatives for many a magic show. The author also gives some interesting magic trivia and lessons in how to present yourself as a believable magician. Tricks include: The Bouncing Handkerchief, Dating a Coin, Five Card Mystery, The Ring on the String, The Double Cross, The Magic Loops and many others.

Condition: This book is in good condition. The shiny paper over board cover shows some shelf wear and worn corners and some light scuffing but the cover graphics are clear and bright. The illustrations are crisp and easy to follow. The stitched binding is mostly secure but the stitching is coming lose on page 10, though the pages are still attached.. There is a small tear at the bottom of page 13 and some light creasing on a few of the pages.

As with all vintage books this book has been well read and loved, so some wear is to be expected.
