This wonderful little serving set is so full of whimsy and color! The flower dish and honeycomb spoon were both lovingly handmade with white earthenware clay and my own handmade stamps. The little bowl is perfect for salt or other seasonings, a dollop of wasabi, as a spoon or chopstick rest, small condiment plate-- or any other purpose your heart desires! Along with the spoon, it would make a delightful hostess or shower gift and a sweet little something for yourself.

The bowl has been decorated with layers of underglaze and various glazes which accentuate all of the beautiful textures and designs. The honeycomb pattern in the center of the lovely salmon pink and red flower matches that of the spoon, and they make a fantastic little pair. "..... and the dish ran away with the spoon!....."

The bowl measures 3.75" in diameter and the spoon is 5.75" long. Because of their handmade and somewhat delicate nature, i recommend hand-washing the set to prolong their life. As the spoon is also ceramic, it is best not to use it for heavy stirring, but rather for lighter tasks such as spooning spices or sauce... perhaps lemon curd on a scone- that sort of thing!

Thank you for checking out this listing, and please pop into my shop to see what else i have been up to!
