I recently acquired 2 of these darling German wooden villages in metallic mesh bags. They are both identical. One of the bags has several tears which allowed me to photograph the contents but the other has remained unopened.

This listing is for the unopened bag. There are 22 little wooden pieces that have been stained and handpainted. The houses are stained so there is no chipping of the paint. The man & woman look like they have similar chipping of the paint. All the rest of the pieces look like they are in good shape.

I believe these were made in the 1940's.

The bottom of some of the pieces are marked "Eastern Germany".

The church is 3" tall
