CAFÉ AU LAIT/FLEURS BLEUES HANDKERCHIEF

This super cute handkerchief is in pristine condition. It still has its original label/sticker: "A Burmel Original" (Burmel was a well-known maker of handkerchiefs in the 40s and 50s that advertised in Vogue magazine.). The sticker backing has dried, but it is obvious that this handkerchief has never been used.

The colors are vivid and relevant to the latest trends. Wear this as a compatible accessory to your nude platforms and jewel tone frocks. Tie it in your hair, tie it to your bag, or let it peek out of a pocket.

Domestic uses abound:
-Use as a "doily" to showcase a special tchotchke.
-Combine with other vintage hankies as a napkin set. Your friends and family will think you are creative and stylish!
-Frame and hang anywhere for a feminine/fun/ vintage vibe in any room.
-Sew to other hankies to create super cool window valance/cafe curtain.
-Or...simply use as a handkerchief. Keep it in your handbag to pull it out in time of need, and you will look chic indeed! Much better than pulling out a rumply tissue that leaves lint on your face...

Wearing or decorating with vintage pieces is not only fun and stylish, but it is like having a piece of a bygone era. It's owning a piece of history and keeping it alive by using the piece today. That is pretty cool.

All sales are final - thank you!
