Using 2-1/2" half-hexagon shapes, you can piece this quilt lickety-split. No need to trim the sides, as in other braid-style quilts. No y-seams. No fabric waste! The 10 page pattern is well illustrated, including 2 pages to help you place your half-hexagons to start each row.
The 2-1/2" acrylic half-hexagon template is included for both quilts (without the panel strips). Bonus: I show you how to cut these patches using a standard 60 degree triangle ruler! This is perfect for those jelly-roll bundles you have looking for a fun quilt to live in!

I will respond again when I make the quilt. Directions look very well detailed. I have taken in person classes with Debby Kratovil. Debbie is an excellent teacher. Her teaching method is why I chose to purchase this pattern. My cousin chose the Gees Bend quilt for her gift from me.
