This Necklace contains 7 Lapis lazuli stones each ending with a bell that has a great tinkling sound so no sneaking up on anyone! The Pear shaped stones are 17x13 mm making the necklace 19 inches long and it has a weight of 48.6 grams. It comes with base metal hook and eye catch.

These vintage pieces hand made by Kuchi Pashtuns from Logar Province of Afghanistan were made and purchased by me sometime in the mid 70’s to early 80’s. The traditional form of making jewelry pieces was out of melting down coins to make a metal known as gillet, which is a compound usually consisting of nickel, brass, coin metal, and/or silver, so I can not say how much silver is actually in these pieces. While these items are very popular with Belly Dancing, the bells have a nice tinkling sound, they are just really great pieces of jewelry to be worn by anyone. The small brown beads inter spaced throughout it are rosewood. When they are gone they are gone along with the other antique and vintage pieces I plan to post.

I owned a large Metaphysically Oriented Jewelry store for 10 years and decided one day I had had enough of the rat race that went with it and walked in and said we are done lets close this place and did so in 24 hours LOL. That was 6 years ago and a lot of inventory was boxed and has been sitting until very recently. As I go through the boxes I am coming across Items that I either Manufactured OR bought because of the quality and value. These items are in limited quantities and I will be posting these items on Etsy so as to make them available at a great price until there are no more. I hope you enjoy them and are able to take care of this opportunity to stretch you purchasing dollars.
