Ingri and Edgar Parin D'Aulaire's Book of Greek Myths, First Edition

This is the best used book I've ever found! Nearly every spread is illustrated with fantastic lithographs, some in black and white, many in full color. This book was written for children, so the illustrations are very engaging, and it's very easy and fun to read. This is a first edition, © 1962 by Doubleday. The inside cover has the names and address of the girls who were given the book by their grandparents for Christmas in 1962.

The hardcover book has no dust jacket, and the cloth cover is a little ragged and discolored with some tearing of the spine as shown in the first picture. The inside is in really nice shape, with some yellowing here and there. The light gray cover with eggplant lettering adds a little classical character to any room. The binding is in very good shape. I love this book, and I hope you find it enjoyable and enlightening.
