i am a professionally shot
professionally hand sepia toned
professionally hand matted, &
professionally framed photograph
taken during the Nostalgia Craze
of the 1960s & 1970s.

i was probably originally created
at something like a folk festival
of some sort
somewhere in california
{i was purchased a couple decades later
in socal, but i could be from anywhere, anycal
or maybe even somewhere in nevada like, say
the red dog saloon in virginia city, where
the charlatans first played, opening up
the era known as the 60s.
i could be from there & then}.

i feature three ladies who were quite young then
but who are certainly not now.
they are wearing the clothing of many decades previous
to even then, when they were photographed.
i, the photo, being perhaps forty or fifty years old,
the clothing closer to a century,
fancy hats, fancy coats, fancy dresses,
fancy shoes & no shoes,
fairly appropriate cosmetics
{at least to one of the pictured decades}.

i am rendered in the browns of a
lost centurysworth of sepiatones.
these well well predate photoshop, &
were as done by hand as the matting & framing.
my photograph is 9-1/2" x 11-1/2" / 24cm x 29cm
my frame is 13-3/4" x 16" / 35cm x 40.6cm.
my photograph is framed w/ in its rust matting by
an internal band of printed frame
in the nostalgic arts & crafts style of william morris.

i am an excellent example of the craft of a long lost time
celebrating the craft of a time long lost.

{ps. the white spots, if there are any, are just glare.}

60s 70s does Victoriana Edwardiana classic & quintessential 'olde timey' Nostalgia photograph
