With its exaggerated curves and asymmetric details, this ceramic horse was more than likely crafted by Swedish design titan Stig Lindberg for Gustavsberg. Made of earthen ceramic, with white and yellow glazed detailing, this horse screams mid century Scandinavia. Typical of many Lindberg and Lisa Larsson figurines, this horse doubles as a bank, with a slot on its back for coins and a hole on its belly for coin removal. Measuring 8" long, 6" tall and 3.5" tall, this robust horse is in good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. It does has two tiny paint spots on it that don't look to be the original glaze - one being on its back, and the other on its tail. Overall a stunning piece, and one that would stand out in any mid century or Scandinavian collection!
