This has got to be the most quaint little table that tells the true story of what life was like before your local mega store.

This is a table that the regional Simplicity Sewing Company Salesperson would take on his travels to sell fabric. It's a folding table, so that it was compact and easy to travel with. The legs are still in great working condition, especially for it's age.

There is a cutting groove along the surface that would act as a guide for where to cut the fabric. There is also an engraved measuring marks along to indicate length.

There is a stamp on the bottom side of the table still in great condition that gives the info about the table.

I typically decoratively paint old furniture, but this piece is in great condition and I can't bear to cover up so much history. It's a great conversation starter with such a quaint story.

This table could be a nightstand, end table, entry way table, side table, or a desk.

The piece is 3' x 19 1/2" W x 2' H.
