I was so thrilled to find these! Seriously did the happy dance (but only after making my purchase and leaving). Did the Google thing and came up with this:

C. W. Megathlin’s new drug store was opened on Thursday and was lighted for the first time on Thursday evening. Since then Mr. Megathlin has been the busiest of men, dispensing drugs and medicines and receiving and acknowledging congratulations for his store, the newest and best this side of Boston and for that matter comparing favorably with those inside of Boston. People have a double purpose in visiting the store, all do not come with prescriptions, but all wish to see this attractive place of business. It has a very fine large soda fountain which attracts the most attention. It was built by the Puffer Co. of Boston especially for Mr. Megathlin. This handsome marble structure in soda fountains is complete in all its appointments and is arranged in every detail on the most sanitary principles and attracts already crowds of visitors.

Further searches indicated that the business closed in 1915. So...best guess... these little beauties are/or close to 100 years old!

You will receive 10 , packed up in my favorite spiffy little cello bags with a bit of a page from a vintage medical dictionary. What fun!

I do have more of these so if you would like more for a special project, event or class please convo and I can set up a special listing just for you.
