A spoonful of gems! This elegant pendant is made from a vintage silverplate spoon, and features a cluster of bright orange tumbled carnelian gemstone chips in the bowl.
To make this pendant, I cut the handle off the spoon, and then I carefully grind and polish the cut edge smooth. I punch a hole to accommodate a sterling jump ring, and add the cluster of gemstone chips. Since this is a real, vintage item, there may be areas where the plating is worn, and there may be a few minor scratches and scuffs. Consider it part of its vintage charm!
Metaphysically, carnelian stimulates analytical capabilities, and protects against negative emotions.
A 17"-18" ribbon/cord necklace is included. I have a limited selection of longer lengths available, please convo me if you need something longer!

WOW!!! This absolutely gorgeous champleve and filigree Bonbon spoon that Kim has so cleverly and beautifully crafted into an extraordinary pendant is truly a work of art and heart!!! It's even more stunning and amazing in person...amazing in its own right from an aesthetically pleasing view. Then add in that has been made from such a pretty, vintage utensil given a second, highly delightful, bright, and bold purpose. As someone who loves intricate designs, bright colors, things that are Deco, sweets :-) (have a Baking & Pastry Arts degree) jewelry/items that really resonate with me on multiple levels, and jewelry no one else will have, this Bonbon pendant is just the bomb!
