Here is a most beautiful and wondrous specimen kept preserved perfectly in a long and slender glass vial.

These are wings from the lovely multi-colored Cethosia Biblis, also named the Malay Lacewing. The underside of this gorgeous butterfly is one of the most ornate in the butterfly world. The species is seen visiting small villages and stands out from the greens and browns of the forest of the Philippines.

This would make a simply elegant addition to any specimen collection, or to stand alone in it's timeless ethereal beauty. A must for lovers of butterflies and collectors of tiny natural curios.

The glass vial included is 3" tall, complete with cork stopper, and has a bedding of real earthy moss on the bottom of the vial. This will be shipped with an information sheet on your butterfly wing, and packed carefully.

Please know that no butterflies were hurt or killed for these wee displays; butterflies sadly have a short lifespan and I used these naturally deceased darlings to immortalize their beauty.
