The double dipper earrings are 2 tiny discs of kiln-fired glass enamel suspended by a slim arc of slender of yet sturdy wire of sterling silver and a handcrafted sterling silver hook. Charmingly simple yet frolicsome, a style that you can dress up or down.
The overall length of the earrings is 1.5". The powdered glass enamel is kiln-fired onto a copper disc 3/16" and 1/4" in diameter. The square style sterling wire is hard soldered onto the enameled copper disc.
I include a pair of clear rubber earhook "keepers" with all earrings, which can be worn on the earhooks behind the earlobe to prevent loss.

Great quality and the orchid color is really pretty. Love these mini square studs for when I want to wear understated but noticeable earrings. I plan to buy in more colors!

ENAMEL INFORMATION AND CARE: Enamel is a form of glass fused to metal and is safe to wear without irritating the skin. Because the base is metal (copper or silver) it is much more durable than glass on its own. However, chipping or cracking can occur if it is dropped, so it should be treated with care when handling it.
To clean enamel jewelry or dishes, use a soft cloth and wipe clean, use mild soap if needed. DO NOT use a dishwasher or anything abrasive to clean the enamel surface. Enamels should avoid contact with strong chemicals and certain acidic foods (such as citrus). Exposed copper on the back of enamel dishes can be cleaned with mild commercial metal polishes such as Brasso or Penny Brite.
