The second photo is a shot of my HOT HAWAIIAN chili pepper garden. I don't use any synthetic fertilizers. Just fresh Hawaiian ALOHA, water, and worm castings from my worm colony. These suckers are HOT HOT HOT. The plants fare so well in the humidity and constant sunshine.

Grown in the hills of Sunset Beach on the island of O'ahu. The unique Hawai'ian soil gives these peppers a distinguished earthy regional flavor, unique to our islands. They are not produced commercially here in the state of Hawaii.

This is a micro-mini boutique production. I only produce 1-2 lbs dried peppers a season. Hot Hawai'ian chili peppers are called "NIOI PEPA" in Hawai'ian. They will store indefinitely in a dark, dry, pest free, environment.

Fourth photo shows the size variation. 3/4 to 1 1/2" long. The majority in your shipment are the long ones.

The amount you will receive is shown in the first photo. The blue tiles are 4x4" to give you an idea of the amount that is in one ounce. I weigh it on my kitchen scale for accuracy, see pic #3. These are dried so you are receiving a lot more than if they were canned or fresh. About 1/2 lb fresh peppers are used to make an ounce of dried peppers. They retain all of their fire after the drying process, I assure you. 1/3 of a larger pepper or one whole smaller one will heat an entire pot of stew.

If you need more than one ounce, please convo me for discount prices.

NO additives or preservatives. Vine ripened and hand harvested, one ripe pepper @ a time. Immediately dried and packaged to retain freshness. Slowly dehydrated @ 100 degrees F. Therefore, they would still be considered raw food.

More vitamin C than oranges. Too many health benefits to list. Google for more info.

These peppers are used to make local Hawaiian delicacies such as : poke, Hawai'ian chili pepper water, they reconstitute wonderfully in water or other liquid. Hawai'ian chili pepper VODKA anyone? Infused olive oil? Your minds' creations are the limit.

The last photo is of my dog Bodhi, the wonder dog. He's a real local boy. B.D.E. Best Dog Ever!
