Faye Ward was a male western designer who along with Nudie, Turk and Rodeo Ben was one of the architects of cowboy couture. He started out working as a cowhand, later wrote books about the old West and somehow ended up in New York City in the late 1940s creating an amazing line of western clothing. This suit was worn by a Nashville singer in the late 40s. The wool gab shirt has hand cut felt fringe, and measures 40" on chest, 34" waist, 26" length shirt and 32" sleeve length. The pants have a 30" waist, 29" inseam and 41" outer seam with a generous 2" hem. Unfortunately, there are a few moth holes and discolorations due to age but it is still quite wearable or collectible.
